First, I apologize for the long delay.  I have learned that I cannot sit and think about what I am going to write.  Rather I need to write what I am thinking at that exact moment.  Therefore, posts should become more and more frequent.

I am listening to Governor Romney speak at CPAC.  All reports indicate he will suspend his campaign.  I have never trusted the Governor and I am glad he has not decided to drag his campaign on further.  Laura Ingraham introduced Governor Romney as “a conservative’s conservative.”  She also aluded that he is, not was (poking Senator McCain) a foot soldier of President Reagan.  I have no idea how any true Republican can agree with the likes of Ms. Ingraham or Mr. Limbaugh or any other far-right talk show hosts.  As recent polls show, most people do not really care what these hosts say.  That’s a positive at least.

One of several things that just hit me the wrong way with these “conservative” attacks against Senator McCain are the claims that he is not like President Reagan, a President Reagan larger than life and more mystical than anyone thought possible.  “Conservatives” attack Senator McCain on his “amnesty” bill.  Might I add, Senator McCain is one of the few people who are actually trying to do something about illegal immigration.  While these “conservatives” attack his bill, they fail to mention President Reagan’s amnesty bill.  It’s amazing how much one forgets in such a short period of time.

My other issues with the attacks against Senator McCain will be discussed shortly.  For now I must bid you adieu.
